István Kerek
/ Violin player, composer. He has graduated at the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary.. Prize-winner musician of Artisjus and eMeRTon, member of chamber formations such as Perle di Musica, Quartett Escualo, Trio Divertimento, David Klezmer Quintet, K.I.K. Ensemble, Arco'lor and FolKlez. Active member of Batarita Dance Company where for 7 years he composes music for most of the pieces and also performes his music live. |
XRC Kovács Balázs
/Sound artist, computer musician, composer, music teacher. Former founder of the Diaspóra publisher and the Moiré Group, teacher of the Pécs University of Art. Beside being a composer he is also an event organizer, and does theoretical work as philosopher and aesthete. His research fields: contemporary and postmodern music aesthetics, culture critic, aesthetic communication, interaction. |
Péter Pettendi Szabó
/ Freelance photographer, teacher, theatre visual designer, short film director and cameraman. His main fields are social photography and dance photography but within the foundation he made numerous visual designs and installations as well for several dance production. The leader of Passport Control International Photo Workshop run within Mediawave. He is a member of the Hungarian Association of Photo Artists and won the following prizes and scholarships: 1st prize Camera Obscura application of the Mai Manó House of Photography, 1st prize of the documentarist photo application of the Studio of Young Photographers, 2nd prize at the Hungarian Press Photo 2001 in the art and science category. In 2009 he won the Moholy-Nagy László Photography Scholarship, in 2005 the Pécsi József Photo Art Scholarship. |
Gábor Pintér
/Art manager Graduated as an economists, he has been dealing with art management, focusing on contemporary dance, since 1999. He was working for Trafo House of Contemporary Arts and Workshop Foundation in Budapest. Since 2006 he is a freelance art manager working on project basis. Most of his projects are dealing with dance popularization, he is organising dance interventions in urban spaces, open-air dance classes, site-specific dance events. He is the production assistant of Batarita since 2001 and the festival manager of Butoh and Performing Arts Festival in Budapest and Eastern-Europe. |
